Norman M. Powell of Young Conaway Stargatt & Taylor has been elected for a term as secretary of the American Bar Association’s Business Law Section.
The Business Law Section's mission is “to serve its members, the profession, and the public by providing educational resources to its members, assisting members in serving their clients ethically and competently, and furthering the development and improvement of business law.” The Section produces The Business Lawyer and Business Law Today.
Powell has held leadership positions in the ABA’s Business Law Section since 2007, serving as chair of the UCC Committee, a member of the government council, and as a member of the Executive Committee.
