Nancy Weiss Is the 2024 Kaminstein Scholar in Residence

The U.S. Copyright Office has announced Nancy E. Weiss as the fifth Abraham L. Kaminstein Scholar in residence. The Kaminstein Scholar Program is designed to provide an opportunity for scholars in legal, copyright, and other related areas to spend time in the Copyright Office to work on mutually beneficial projects.

Weiss will focus on advancing scholarship, engagement, and research on the protection, preservation, access to and use of diverse forms of traditional cultural expressions.

Weiss began the role in January and will serve in the position for 2024.
