Michael Berger Receives Jefferson B. Fordham Lifetime Achievement Award

The American Bar Association’s Section of State and Local Government Law awarded Michael M. Berger of Manatt, Phelps & Phillips the Jefferson B. Fordham Lifetime Achievement Award.

This award is the State and Local Government Law Section’s highest honor and recognizes the accomplishments of those who have been active in various areas of state and local law. Berger received the award in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the practice of state and local government law over the course of his career. Berger has spent over 50 years as a practicing lawyer, adjunct professor, and faculty member. He is one of the top land use and condemnation attorneys in the United States.
