Kenneth Abraham to Receive 2024 Prosser Award
Kenneth S. Abraham of UVA School of Law is the recipient of the 2024 William L. Prosser Award from the Association of American Law Schools (AALS), Section on Torts & Compensation Systems. The Prosser Award is the highest award in the torts field given by AALS.
Abraham was elected to ALI in 1990 and elected to ALI Council in 1996. He has served as an Adviser on numerous ALI projects, including Restatements of the Law Third, Torts: Products Liability, and Torts: Liability for Physical and Emotional Harm; Restatement of the Law, Liability Insurance; Restatement of the Law, Constitutional Torts; and more.
Named in honor of William L. Prosser, this award is to recognize the significant contributions of law teachers in scholarship, teaching, and service in the torts and compensation systems of law.
