John Fellas on Enforcing New York Convention Awards in the U.S.

John N. Fellas of Hughes Hubbard & Reed has written an article for the New York Law Journal titled “Enforcing New York Convention Awards in the United States: Getting It Right.” The article discusses the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit’s decision in GBF Industria de Gusa S/A v. AMCI Holdings, including the various distinctions made by the court and their implications for parties applying to U.S. courts to reduce an arbitration award to judgment.
