Danielle Citron and Debating Section 230
Danielle Citron of the University of Virginia School of Law participated in a discussion with The American Prospect analyzing different facets of Section 230, a provision in the Communications Decency Act that provides immunity to website platforms from third-party content. The discussion reviewed the original goals of Section 230 and the conflicts that have arisen from court interpretations.
