ALI Reporter Participates in Bench-Bar Dialogue

Professor George A. Bermann of Columbia Law School, the chief Reporter of the Restatement of the Law, U.S. Law of International Commercial Arbitration, led a Bench-Bar Dialogue at the United States Courthouse in Manhattan with John Pierce, partner at WilmerHale. Professor Bermann and Mr. Pierce discussed the status of the Restatement, as well as the challenges and controversies around major arbitration-related issues.

The event, sponsored by the New York International Arbitration Center, was hosted by Chief Judge Loretta A. Preska of the Southern District of New York and former Chief Judge of New York Judith S. Kaye.
