Elected to her current position in 2015, Judge Kelsey Hanlon presides over a general jurisdiction court hearing a wide range of cases, including civil, dependency, criminal, and family matters. She has presided over numerous jury trials and enjoys the unique benefits and challenges of presiding over a general jurisdiction court in small town.
Judge Hanlon also serves on numerous committees in Indiana, including the Indiana Supreme Court Committee on Rules of Practice and Procedure, the Indiana Commission on Court Appointed Attorneys, the Juvenile Justice Improvement Committee, and the Civil Jury Instructions Committee. She also currently serves as the President of the Indiana Council of Juvenile and Family Court Judges.
