Rudy Rodríguez, Jr. is an experienced corporate C-Suite Executive and longtime litigator. From 2014 to 2023, he was Executive Vice President, Chief Legal and Human Resources Officer, and Corporate Secretary of CEC Entertainment, Inc., which has over 12,000 employees in over 650 Chuck E. Cheese and Peter Piper Pizza restaurants in 47 states and 19 foreign countries or territories. Rudy’s legal organization provided strategic legal business advice to the Company’s Board of Directors, officers, and managers. As head of the Company's Human Resources department, Rudy led the Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards (Compensation, Benefits, HRIS), HR Compliance and Corporate and Field Human Resources functions. His organization also included the Company’s Risk Management and Licensing groups.
A graduate of Texas A&M University and Harvard Law School, Rudy practiced commercial and employment litigation at several Dallas law firms, as well as in the legal departments of American Airlines and J.C. Penney Corporation. He was Vice President and General Counsel of American Eagle Airlines from 2000 to 2003. He will be President of the Patrick E. Higginbotham American Inn of Court, serves on the boards of directors of the Dallas Zoological Society and the Texas Trees Foundation, is President of the Denton High School Family Assistance Foundation, and is active in several other industry and legal organizations.
Rudy lives in Dallas, Texas with his wife, Stacy (who is an Executive Assistant City Attorney with the City of Dallas). They have two grown children, Grace and Jimmy.
