Sarah M. Konsky is the Director of the Supreme Court and Appellate Clinic at the University of Chicago Law School. The Clinic represents parties and amici curiae in cases before the United States Supreme Court and other appellate courts. Professor Konsky also is a Clinical Professor of Law at the University of Chicago.
Professor Konsky previously was a partner at Sidley Austin LLP. She represented clients in appellate cases, as well as in class action and other cases in the trial courts. Her practice focused on employment cases, including employment discrimination, wage and hour, wrongful termination, restrictive covenant, and breach of contract claims. She frequently represented clients in pro bono matters, as well.
Professor Konsky received her BS from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and her JD from the University of Chicago Law School. She was a law clerk for Chief Judge Mary M. Schroeder on the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
