Jeremy M. Goldman is an Associate Justice on the California Court of Appeal, First Appellate District, Division Four.
Justice Goldman previously served as Co-Chief of Appellate Litigation and as a Deputy City Attorney for Government Litigation at the San Francisco City Attorney's Office. In those roles, he supervised appeals across the Office and defended San Francisco ordinances, programs, and procedures against constitutional and other legal challenges at trial and on appeal in federal and state courts.
Prior to joining the City Attorney's Office, Justice Goldman was a partner at Boies, Schiller & Flexner LLP, where his practice focused on complex civil litigation. He also served as a law clerk for Judge Rosemary Barkett of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
