Karin Nelsen is the Vice President of Legal and Human Resources for the Minnesota Vikings. Prior to joining the Vikings, Ms. Nelsen was Vice President and North America General Counsel for Cargill, Inc., an international producer and marketer of food, agricultural, financial and industrial products and services. She currently manages a legal team of approximately 150 people and has supported a broad range of Cargill businesses around the world since joining the company in 1998. Before joining Cargill’s Law Department, Karin worked as a litigator in Seattle and Minneapolis law firms. She also worked as a CPA prior to law school.
Karin is on the Board of Directors for the Iowa Law School Foundation and St. David’s Center, an educational non-profit in Minneapolis. She also serves on the General Counsel Steering Committee for the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM).
