Paul A. Lombardo is Regents’ Professor and Bobby Lee Cook Professor of Law at Georgia State University College of Law. His research as a lawyer/historian has focused on the legal history of the American eugenics movement. He teaches Genetics and the Law, Mental Health and the Law, Bioethics and the Law, and the History of Public Health Law. From 2010-2016 he served as Senior Advisor to the President’s Commission for the Study of Bioethical Issues that reported on the US Public Health research scandal in post-WWII Guatemala.
