Hon. Faith S. Hochberg, U.S.D.C.(ret.) is a former federal judge for the District of New Jersey, where she served from 1999-2015. In 2015, she founded Hochberg ADR, through which she serves as a neutral Arbitrator, Mediator, Special Master and Monitor.
Judge Hochberg is well known for expertise in intellectual property, technology, antitrust, and financial services matters.
Prior to donning the robes, she served as the United States Attorney (1994-1999) and Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Treasury (1993-1994), as well as private practice of law. She also held a senior leadership role in the resolution of the S&L crisis (1990-1993).
In her early career, Judge Hochberg was a law clerk to the Hon. Spottswood W. Robinson, D.C. Cir.. and as Legal Assistant to the Chairman of the SEC.
Judge Hochberg is a Fellow of the Innovation Center for Law & Technology. She has been elected as a Fellow of the College of Commercial Arbitrators; and as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
