Anne C. Foster has 30 years of experience representing clients in corporate and commercial litigation matters, representing corporations, members of boards of directors, and substantial stockholders in litigation concerning mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and fiduciary duties. She also counsels clients in special committee matters, indemnification and advancement issues, and other aspects of Delaware corporate law. Ms. Foster serves as Richards Layton’s general counsel and is also a certified mediator with the Delaware Superior Court.
A frequent speaker on issues relating to corporate litigation and ethics, Ms. Foster has co-taught classes at Columbia Law School and the University of Pennsylvania Law School. Her leadership in the legal community includes serving on the Delaware Supreme Court Rules Committee, as past chair of the Delaware Supreme Court’s Board on Professional Responsibility, and on the Advisory Board of the Weinberg Center for Corporate Governance at the University of Delaware.
