N. Lee Cooper is a shareholder of Maynard Nexsen PC and Chairman Emeritus of the firm’s Litigation and Arbitration sections. He remains active in several of the firm’s litigation practice groups, having litigated or arbitrated many cases in the securities, insurance, products liability, contracts, corporate governance, and employment practice areas over more than forty years.
Mr. Cooper was elected to the ALI in December 1984 and was elected to the Council in 1991. He previously was an Adviser on the Restatement Third, Law Governing Lawyers project.
He served as President of the American Bar Association for the 1996-97 term and as Chair of the ABA House of Delegates from 1990 to 1992.
