Gary L. Sasso

Gary L. Sasso is the President and Chief Executive Officer at Carlton Fields in Tampa. He represents business clients in securities fraud and consumer fraud class actions and other complex litigation at the trial and appellate level, including in the financial services industry, energy sector, products manufacturing industry, and services sector.

Mr. Sasso was elected to the ALI in 1993 and was elected to the Council in 2011. He serves on the Members Consultative Group for the Restatement Third, Torts: Liability for Physical & Emotional Harm project.

Following law school, he clerked for Judge Spottswood W. Robinson, III, of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit and for Justice Byron R. White of the U.S. Supreme Court.
