A Concise Restatement of Torts, Third Edition

*Concise Restatements are compilations of provisions from existing Restatements thought to be most useful to those learning about an area of law. Intended for student use, they present key Restatement provisions in a compact, convenient, and readily accessible format. 

Compiled by Ellen Bublick of the University of Arizona, the Sections in this edition have been drawn from five separate Restatement projects—Restatement Third of Torts: Liability for Physical and Emotional Harm (2010 & 2012); the Restatement Third of Torts: Apportionment of Liability (2000); the Restatement Third of Torts: Products Liability (1998); the Restatement Second of Torts; and the Restatement of Agency (2006). While Restatement Section numbers and project names are noted underneath each black-letter provision, Section numbers play a diminished role in this volume. Instead, this book has been organized by topic in a way that corresponds more closely to first-year casebooks.
