I have spent the vast majority of my career as a criminal defense practitioner. After an appellate clerkship, I joined the Defender Association of Philadelphia, where I spent five years as a trial attorney. I next worked at the Philadelphia Federal Defender's Office, where I spent nearly thirty years as a trial attorney, many of those years as supervisor of the trial unit. In November, 2018, I joined the Philadelphia District Attorney's Office, where I currently work reviewing old cases for wrongful convictions and investigating public officials, employees and police officers for corrupt or wrongful conduct.
