George M. Newcombe is a retired partner of Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP, where he practiced for his entire career as a litigator and trial lawyer. In 1999, Mr. Newcombe opened the firm's office in Palo Alto, CA. Prior to law school, Mr. Newcombe served as a commissioned officer in the U.S. Public Health Service. He is an Advisor on Principles of the Law, Data Privacy and also on the MCG for Restatement Third, Torts: Products Liability.
Mr. Newcombe serves on the boards of several educational and charitable foundations.
