Larry S. Stewart to Receive the Glenna Goodacre Creative Arts Award

The International Academy of Trial Lawyers has selected Larry S. Stewart as a recipient of the Glenna Goodacre Creative Arts Award for his accomplishments in creative writing.
The IATL, founded in 1954, is an international trial lawyer organization made up of fellows “who have achieved a career of excellence as shown by their skills in trial, and as demonstrated by their integrity and professionalism.” This award is named in honor of Glenna Goodacre, a world-renowned artist and sculptor who passed away in 2020.
Stewart, who retired in 2016, has over 50 years of experience as a trial lawyer. His practice focused on catastrophic injuries, particularly victims of defective products and medical malpractice. Following the 2001 terrorist attacks, he established Trial Lawyers Care, the largest pro bono private organization in history which brought free legal services to over 1700 victims and victim families.
