An op-ed piece co-authored by Jill R. Horwitz of UCLA School of Law, ALI member and Reporter for the Charitable Nonprofits Project, has been published in The New York Times. The piece, “How Donald Trump’s Health Secretary Pick Endangers Women,” co-authored with Allison K. Hoffman, discusses the potential effect of the President-elect’s selection of Tom Price as secretary of health and human services to women’s health services.
Professor Horwitz’s work addresses some of the most pressing health law and policy issues of our day, including the Affordable Care Act, Medicare, and the impact of hospital ownership on the delivery of medical services.
