Brian C. Lea is an appellate lawyer at Jones Day. He has particular experience in high-stakes products liability cases, business disputes, and constitutional litigation. Mr. Lea also frequently appears as trial counsel to argue key legal issues. Before joining Jones Day, Mr. Lea served as a law clerk to Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas and to Judge Ed Carnes of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
In addition to his client engagements, Mr. Lea regularly presents on legal writing, developments in federal practice, and the Supreme Court. He also has published articles discussing the federal courts, which have appeared in the Alabama Law Review, the Virginia Law Review, and the William & Mary Bill of Rights Journal.
