Alexander C. Schoch is General Counsel for the Railroad Commission of Texas. Mr. Schoch has more than 30 years of extensive legal experience. Prior to joining the Commission in 2016, Mr. Schoch was Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer & Secretary at Peabody Energy, where he was responsible for global legal, compliance and company secretary functions. He previously served as Vice President and General Counsel for Emerson Process Management. He served as Vice President, Associate General Counsel & Secretary of Goodrich Corporation until 2004, with prior assignments in Goodrich's aerospace and specialty chemicals divisions. Mr. Schoch also worked for Marathon Oil Company as an Attorney supporting its domestic and international exploration and production operations. Mr. Schoch serves on the Board of Directors of the National Blues Museum in St. Louis, MO.
