Maryland Carey Law Names Renée McDonald Hutchins as Dean

Renée McDonald Hutchins is the next dean of the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law. She is returning to Maryland Carey Law from UDC David A. Clarke School of Law, where she was dean for the last three years.

Prior to being appointed dean at UDC Law, Hutchins served on the Maryland Carey Law faculty as the Jacob A. France Professor of Public Interest Law and co-director of the clinical law program. She will return to the school in her role as dean on August 1.
