Eric Steven Miller serves as U.S. Attorney for the District of Vermont. Prior to beginning work as U.S. Attorney, Mr. Miller was in private practice at Sheehey Furlong & Behm in Burlington, Vermont, and O'Melveny & Meyers in San Francisco, California. During his nearly 20 years in private practice, Mr. Miller litigated a wide range of complex criminal and civil matters before federal and state courts and administrative bodies. He specialized in trying complicated cases to verdict and handling appeals to the Vermont Supreme Court and the Second Circuit Court of Appeals.

Mr. Miller clerked for the Honorable Steven McAuliffe of the United States District Court for the District of New Hampshire, and the Honorable Fred Parker of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
