Gregory P. Butrus

Gregory Butrus is partner at Balch & Bingham LLP. His practice includes advising clients in state and federal legislative matters, public policy, and government relations law; political law compliance and regulation; state and federal energy policy matters, regulations, and transactions; NERC Reliability Standards development and related compliance activities; and electric industry standards and related governance and policy issues. In addition, he regularly advises clients regarding economic development and other policy issues.

Prior to joining Balch & Bingham, Mr. Butrus served on the staff of U.S. Senator Howell Heflin from 1993 to 1995 in Washington, D.C.
