The Restatement of Security is out of print, but it is accessible on Westlaw and Lexis, and on the Restatement CD-ROM, which is available from the West Group. Restatement Third, Suretyship and Guaranty, has replaced Division II of the Restatement of Security, which deals with Suretyship (see Restatement of the Law Third, Suretyship and Guaranty), and its pocket part contains all citations to the Restatement of Security that have been reported to The American Law Institute by West Group. Division I, which deals with pledges and possessory liens, has been largely, but not entirely, superseded by Article 9 of the Uniform Commercial Code.
