STAFF SPOTLIGHT: Helene Cohen

Membership Coordinator Helene Cohen is a familiar face to any ALI member who has attended an Annual Meeting or had occasion to visit the Philadelphia office. In 2005, Helene completed a commendable 40 years of employment with the Institute. John F. Kennedy was the nation’s President when the teenaged Helene, still in high school, started working on a part-time basis for ALI Assistant Director Paul Wolkin. Little did she know that she was embarking on a lifelong career! Helene has served under five ALI Presidents (Norris Darrell, R. Ammi Cutter, Roswell B. Perkins, Charles Alan Wright, and Michael Traynor) and four Directors (Herbert F. Goodrich, Herbert Wechsler, Geoffrey C. Hazard, Jr., and Lance Liebman).
